Connecting & Empowering Philadelphia's Successful Women.
PHLARE (sounds like: flair; PHL + flair): Philly's community & work-life resource for local young professional women.
Welcome to the home of Philadelphia's Young Successful Women (mid 20s-30s). I created this network after moving to Philly in 2008 and realizing how difficult it was to make new friends and professional connections out of grad school and in a career transition. Today, the community I once needed now exists.
Our network, along with our other "pieces of PHLARE" (PHLARE Magazine, for Philadelphia's Successful Women (now online), blogs and events) make it easier for us to exchange wisdom, connect and advance, both personally and professionally.
I urge all young women in Philadelphia to take advantage of PHLARE resources and support our cause. It's all here for you, created by you, and alive because of people like you and me. PHLARE is truly the voice and home of Philadelphia's young successful women. Have fun, :) Ashley Cook
